What gives an individual power? Other powerful individuals of course. What gave Macbeth power? Lady Macbeth and others giving him praise for his military accomplishments. As for myself, I believe that Macbeth was a great military man, but a absolutely horrible politician. He may have deserved power initially, but he was immoral going about and when he had it, he didn't know how to properly use it.
What military accomplishments do you speak of? And how DARE you speak of my husband in such a way. He was a FANTASTIC politician and my husband and I deserved all of the power we got. We used our power to the fullest and we still use it to this day. You do not know what you are talking about. No wonder why we killed you.....
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Macbeth killed me because I was going to be king. That was a ass move. Thats not the right way gain power.
ReplyDeleteHOW DARE THEE?! I Macbeth utilized my power well. Sure people didn't like me, but I still was the most powerful and best leader Scottland has ever seen!
ReplyDeleteNo, Macbeth gave himself power by killing Duncan. I agree with you that he was a terrible politician. He wasn't even a great military man because he was a coward. He killed my family because he was afraid of me.
ReplyDeleteMy Dear Thane of Cawdor,
ReplyDeleteMacbeth was both a horrible politician and an awful military man. He gained his power by manipulation and by twisting the minds of others. He killed becuase he was in fear of losing his life, or even worse... his power. He has no real accomplishments, he is an awful tyrant, and leader!
